The Grain is able to offer a wide range of manufactured products using cutting edge CNC technologies, Wood machining facilities and high tech spray finishing systems from our Cornwall factory.
With our CNC cutting service we frequently manufacture Wooden lettering systems for fascia’s and shop-fronts. These can be supplied on plastic or Nickle brass popper systems if required by our workshop.
We hold extensive stocks of Western Red Cedar, Yellow Cedar, English, and American White Oak, Mahogany, Iroko and Yellow Pine and White Ash.
We also work extensively with various MDF and PVC substrates when cost is an issue.
We advise the use of Western Red cedar, Yellow Cedar or Iroko for exterior sign systems due to its durability and visual aesthetic.
We use stainless steel fixings and hardware on our signs and hold extensive stocks that we can supply if required.
Integrated slatwall hangers in a POS panel keep the hanging system affordable, any slatwall hanger can be used. We can CNC the slatwall grooves to any product, and can produce a pegboard fit.

Animals 3D modeled at The Grain on Artcam and 3D milled from High Density Foam on CNC router. Colour applied by air-brush in layers. We are able to get a more natural sustainable feel to 3D graphics by using a water-based system if required.
