Viking River Splash
The Brief: We were contacted by Legoland Windsor for a new sign for their “Viking Splash” theme park ride. This is part of their redesign and update for the rides at the park. Keeping an on going theme with the rest of the iconic look of the park is critical, using accurate 3D models to keep within the look of the “LEGO” look.
| Process
The 3D sign was mostly carved out by hand, with CNC cut letters. Douglas Fir planks were CNC cut and sandblasted. All have then been coloured and sealed to high exterior finish |
| Material
HDU (High Density Urethane) which has been Pantone matched to the Lego Colours. We also used our well known sandblasted Douglas Fir for the vertical planks of wood behind the 3D sign. |
| Finish
Acid Catalyst full colour paint with high durability lacquer, Exterior use wood colour and top coat was used for the wood planks. |
